2025 BOL4 Asia Tour Concert「Bloom」in Singapore
After almost 2 years, Bol4 returned to Singapore with a performance that was as enchanting as it was emotionally charged. On 18th January 2025, Ahn Ji-young took to the stage at The Theatre at Mediacorp, marking the only Southeast Asian stop of her solo tour. The concert was a magical celebration of her artistry, her connection to her fans (LoBolys), and the power of music to transcend borders.
The night kicked off with an ethereal entrance—Ahn Ji-young, dressed in delicate fairy-core attire, donning a white halter top and matching frilly skirt that seemed to float around her as she stepped onto the stage with 'Galaxy' and 'You And I From The Beginning'. It was a fitting look for a performance that promised to be otherworldly. Greeted by a sea of excited fans, Ahn Ji-young expressed her gratitude for returning to Singapore, noting it had been quite some time since her last visit.
"Steady? Shiok? Swee la!" she cheerfully greeted the audience in a playful display of her command over Singlish, a testament to her previous visits to Singapore and her deep connection with local fans. The crowd erupted in cheers, their excitement palpable as the night unfolded.
Ahn Ji-young wasted no time in acknowledging the love from her fans. She mentioned receiving a cake and letters before the show, a touching gesture that reflected the deep bond she shares with her Singaporean supporters. The moment set the tone for what would be an emotional and intimate evening.

The energy in the room soared during her performance of 'Bom'. The fanchants were not only loud but perfectly synchronized, much to Ahn Ji-young's surprise. She gazed in awe at the sea of fans, visibly moved by the collective energy. This was followed with 'Tell Me You Love Me'.
During 'You(=I)' she invited everyone to sing and dance along with her, even choosing a lucky fan to teach the choreography. "You are the most adorable fan to have danced this song," she laughed, as the lucky fan shared the spotlight, dancing in front of a crowd that was already well-versed in her music and performance style.
The concert then slowed down for a poignant moment with the solo of her guitarist. The atmosphere grew tender as the audience swayed along, caught in the beauty of the music. When the lights brightened again, Ahn Ji-young returned to the stage with a heartfelt introduction to 'Some', praising the fans for their beautiful voices. "How do you guys have such nice voices?" she asked, a wide smile spreading across her face. She also expressed her love for Singapore, promising that she would return again soon.

One of the night’s standout moments came during 'Travel', where Ahn Ji-young changed the typical fanchant to an exclusive Singaporean version: “안지영, 사랑해” (Ahn Ji-young, I love you) became “Love You La.” The energy in the venue hit new heights as fans jumped in unison to the upbeat tune, their feet never touching the ground. It was clear that the connection between Ahn Ji-young and her fans was not only deep but uniquely special in Singapore.
The mood remained lighthearted and joyous throughout, especially during 'Workaholic', where Ahn Ji-young’s wide grin and infectious energy showed just how much she enjoyed being back on stage. But it was during 'Snowball' that the true magic of the night began to unfold. She invited the audience into her “snow globe,” a whimsical moment that perfectly complemented the ethereal atmosphere she had created earlier in the show.

A more personal, heartfelt moment came with 'Bloom', a song inspired by her fans. The lyrics conveyed a message of unconditional support: “I hope you bloom beautifully. Whenever you feel alone, I will be the person closest to you. And whenever you bloom/grow, I want to be the one to congratulate you first.” The confetti that fell during the performance created a breathtaking visual—delicate and soft, resembling falling petals in spring.
She continued showing off her vocals with 'Seattle Alone', 'Blue' and 'Butterfly Effect', as LoBolys swayed along, mesmerised by her presence.
Later, as she performed 'Eternal Love', Ahn Ji-young shared an emotional message with the audience. "This is a fan song, about my promise to become a better person for my fans," she explained. "I feel like I have received so much love from you guys, and I feel like you are my people." It was a promise that resonated deeply with the crowd, who cheered in appreciation. The sentiment was echoed in every note she sang, as if she truly believed in the transformative power of her connection with her fans.
Ahn Ji-young went the extra mile, walking down the stage to get closer to LoBolys, much to their delight. She walked along the aisles of the theatre, taking her time to greet and approach her fans, even those sitting further back. "Did you get to see me up close and capture me with your eyes?" she asked, before adding, “It was nice to get to see the second floor up close too.” She also took the opportunity to promise her return to Singapore, one that only deepened the emotional bond between her and the audience.

The encore began with 'To My Youth', a moment that felt especially intimate. Confetti slowly fell from the ceiling, landing softly on Ahn Ji-young as she performed. Her pianist solo was another highlight of this segment, a perfect complement to the serene yet powerful atmosphere she had cultivated throughout the night. She wrapped up this segment with 'Seoul' and 'Dandelion'.
The final encore moments were full of surprises as well. After asking fans for song requests, she delighted the crowd with unexpected performances of 'Space', and 'Chase Love Hard'. "I thought you wouldn’t know all of my songs," she admitted, smiling shyly. "Before the concert, I heard Space was popular in Singapore but I didn’t believe it." Her humility and genuine surprise were endearing as the fans went wild for these fan-favorite tracks.
The evening ended with a high-energy performance of 'Chase Love Hard', where the fans’ fanchants were so powerful that they seemed to fill the entire venue, leaving Ahn Ji-young visibly moved. As the final notes played, the crowd erupted into applause, their love for her undiminished by the night’s end.
