[Review] EPIK HIGH All Time High Tour in Singapore
Epik High’s All Time High Tour hit Singapore on Saturday, 23rd September 2023. The trio truly brought the house down at Pasir Panjang Power Station that night with their high energy and iconic tracks.
Starting off with “Strawberry”, “On My Way”, “Map the Soul” and “Eternal Sunshine” it set the tone that fans were in for an unforgettable night of good music, emotion and energy. The group also expressed how they hoped to help fans who attended today forget about the weight of their responsibilities outside the event venue, and they definitely delivered.

“Face ID”, “Rosario”, “Burj Khalifa” and “NO THANXX” followed, and the addictive beats and fast verses had the crowd jumping along in their places. Aside from the music, the most fun part of the show for us was how the group would constantly interact with the fans and the endless playful banter amongst the group members kept us chuckling throughout. Exhibit A: Tablo jokingly got each member in the group to say a phrase/sentence uniquely for Singapore fans and when it came to his turn, said: “a long time ago when I was still a little boy I looked in the mirror and said to myself, one day, one day you’re going to make it kid. And when you make it, you will be able to go to Singapore!”
The night progressed with “All Day”, “Eyes Nose Lips”, “Love Love Love”, “Fan”, “One” and mellowed out during “Rain Song” and “Home is Far Away”. It was a pleasant and refreshing surprise to also see how the crowd were really just living in the moment and absorbed into the music, evident of how a large majority were not just frantically trying to capture every moment with their phones, a common sight to see at music events in this digital age.

Much to fans’ delight, the group also had 2 consecutive encore portions, and the audience’s tension really reached an “All Time High” as they performed crowd favourite “Born Hater”, and bops like “Don’t Hate Me”, “Catch”, “Kill this Love” and “New Beautiful”. During “Born Hater”, the trio added an extra element of fun by including timely intervals, inserting amusing banter with the audience and things like splashing water and giving out an autographed shirt.
In a city where the pace of life and responsibilities often feels relentless, Epik High’s tension and music that night was such a powerful experience to relieve stress and find solace amidst life’s chaos. This experience was almost cathartic for us and we’re sure anyone who was fortunate enough to be able to attend the show felt the same. Thank you Epik High, and we hope to see you again!
