LOVELYZ 3 OF WINTER WORLD IN SINGAPORE 2019
On the 17th of March, the 8 dazzling girls of Lovelyz made a stop on our sunny island for their Lovelyz in Winter World 3 tour. Dropping by Singapore for the first time ever, local fans were treated to an emotional night of spectacular performances, laughter and heart-warming interactions.
The concert started off with a bang, and the group appeared on stage as if 8 white angels had just ascended before us. Donned in white angelic outfits and with a VCR of snowflake effects in the background, their entrance was ethereal beyond compare. Fans erupted into cheers, as they performed their title track ‘Lost N Found’ followed by ‘Bebe’ and ‘Joyland’.

Throughout the night, the girls wowed the crowd with their tight choreography and amazing stage presence. Some of the obvious favourites of the crowd were definitely ‘Ah-Choo!’, ‘Joyland’ and ‘Destiny’, garnering the loudest cheers of the night.
Lovelinus were totally on-point with fan chants that night too, and you could see the Lovelyz girls break into smiles mid-performance from hearing Lovelinus sing along and doing the fan chants in harmony as if they had practiced together beforehand.

The first ever girl group of Woollim Entertainment, the group proved their versatility in music that night. Apart from their usual bubblegum-pop and synth-pop tracks, the girls also performed some of their slower songs such as ‘첫눈 (First Snow)’. Other unforgettable tracks the girls treated Lovelinus to included ‘1CM’, ‘Hi~’ and ‘Cameo’.

It was very evident the strong bond between the Lovelyz and Lovelinus, as you could really feel the emotional connection between Lovelinus and Lovelyz in the air. Especially when the crowd sang along with the girls to ‘첫눈 (First Snow)’, the atmosphere was indescribably heart-warming.
Overflowing with smiles and never-ending fanservice for Lovelinus that night, one thing that was extremely commendable was their efforts to communicate with fans in English.

Despite being a little clumsy with their pronunciation and the obviously scripted prompts, you can’t deny how endearing it is that the girls tried so hard to make sure they communicated with the fans throughout the concert in English, breaking the language barrier.
To ensure they switched things up between each performance, the girls tried to make the concert as interactive and entertaining as possible, from changing outfits & hairstyles, wearing cute headbands and even tossing presents to the crowd. As if their presence wasn’t enough, now lucky Lovelinus have a memento of the night!

Another unforgettable highlight of the night was the VCRs of the girls where they did a challenge made popular by Pikicast’s “When Mom Sleeps”. Having to make kimbap in silence, the girls’ hilarious attempts to cook as quietly as possible led to countless penalties of wearing comedic wigs, props and face-painting. You could say they totally threw away their pretty girl-next-door visuals to give their fans a good laugh. Don’t worry, Lovelyz, in our eyes you’re still goddesses!

Towards the end of the night, there was a birthday surprise for member Kei, and Singaporean Lovelinus also prepared a special fan event (video and banner event) for the girls to thank them for their hard work over the years. The fan event video showed the progress of the group over the years since debut and also their achievements, whilst the banner read "Lovelyz, you worked hard".
Upon watching the video, touched by Lovelinus’s words and overwhelmed with emotions, the members couldn’t hold back their tears and expressed their gratitude towards their fans’ unwavering support and love with tear-stained cheeks.
You could tell how touched the girls were by the message from the fans, as even as they proceeded to the next segment of the night, some of the members were still crying and looking out to their sea of fans with thankfulness in their eyes. After their final song ‘Goodnight like Yesterday’, the night soon came to an end.

Everything ended on a heart-warming note as all 8 members huddled together on stage for a group hug. They showed their sincerity and thanks towards fans who came that night once again by taking the time to bow to all directions of the venue where Lovelinus were seated at.
Making promises to come back to Singapore as soon as possible with even better music and performances, the night came to a final close. Singaporean Lovelinus, you’ll come to support them again, right?
