The Trilldon: Dynamicduo in Singapore
On 29th December 2022, world-renowned K hip-hop artists DynamicDuo dropped by our sunny island after over 10 years for the first show of 'The Trilldon'. 'The Trilldon' is a specially curated experience made up of one-of-a-kind performances for fans of live hip-hop.
This night, the duo heated up the club with little to no effort upon arrival, starting off with ‘1/N’ and ‘Career High’. The crowd had a very good comprehension of the Korean language, which left the duo mentioning how “we prepared speeches in English but I think that’s not needed (today)”.

Following that, they performed ‘Three Dopeboyz’ and ‘MSG’. It doesn’t come as a surprise when the duo mentioned how they enjoyed some local foods like ‘laksa’ before the show, especially when Choiza is known to be a major foodie. They also mentioned how they enjoyed walking around iconic landmarks in Singapore like Gardens by the Bay and Clarke Quay.
Fans were treated to their latest single ‘She Gonna Stop’ and the night got heated fast. The duo even pointed out that they “didn’t know the atmosphere would get so heated so quickly, we should be staying on this high but we actually prepared some slower songs next, can we perform them now?” One of our favourite sections of the night, ‘Guilty’ and 'Hot Wings' had everyone singing in unison whilst swaying to the mellow rap beats.
Being veterans in this industry, fan-service and interactions with the crowd were second nature to the duo. You could easily tell everyone was having the time of their lives whilst singing along to the catchy verses in 'BAAAM', 'Go Back', '? question mark', 'See Through', 'Chool Check', and 'Fireworks'. What came as a delight was how they took the time to spotlight DJ Friz, mentioning how he was the "master" behind the turntable who helped them during their performance everywhere they went.

The duo closed off the event with encore songs 'Johnny' and ‘Friday Night’, leaving everyone drunk on the weekend-like high that Thursday evening. It was truly an unforgettable night, and what a perfect way to wrap up 2022 with this duo.
